This view is of the marina at the Port of Edmonds. The Edmonds Marina became internationally famous during the week of Christmas 1996. Edmonds had the largest snowfall in its history, and most of the pier roofs could not stand the strain and collapsed. Photos of the piers collapsing were carried on national and international news broadcasts. The new piers are now complete, and 2 of the original piers still stand.
