Part of the foundation of the school in Alpine, Washington. This is the southeastern part of the school - the part, I believe (from photos and maps), to have been the addition to the school. After the addition the school had 2 rooms and a hallway between. Lee Pickett took photos of the students at this school in November 1925. The photos are of the 1st through 8th grades, and the 9th and 10th grades. Lee Pickett took many photos of the upper Skykomish Valley in the first quarter of the 20th century. The Pickett museum is in Index, and many Pickett photos are on-line at the University of Washington Archives. Photo taken by Jackie Cuddy on May 14, 2009.
