A very wet and cold Jacki Perry-Zapara standing by concrete pillars of a building in Alpine, Washington. By comparing Jacki's height, my guess is that the pillars are about 4 feet high. This building is located just west of the Alpine school, but we have no idea what type of building it was. It doesn't appear on the 1922 railway map of Alpine. Elsie Tjerne believes this was approximately the location of the gymnasium. Photo by Jackie Cuddy, May 14, 2009.
